Extensions at the end of a file name identify the program needed to open and work on the document:
PowerPoint documents= .ppt
Word documents = .doc
Excel documents= .xls
The extensions remain the same in ThinkFree, so uploads and downloads are compatible between the online website and a computer that uses Microsoft Office programs
